Tortola's First Recycling Company

BVI Glass Recycling, Tortola’s first recycling company, was first hatched by Mr. and Mrs. Wheatly Tomlinson after observing the amount of glass and cans thrown away after the BVI Carnival. A number of resorts, such as Peter Island Resort (www.peterisland.com), have also jumped on board. Best of all, youth in the area are also joining in the fun, as evidenced by the participation of the Youth Empowerment Project. BVI Recycling is located in Sea Cows Bay, Tortola.
