BVI Culinary Team Wins Bronze at Taste of the Caribbean Competition

The national BVI Culinary Team just wrapped up competition in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the regional Taste of the Caribbean event. Congrats to the BVI team who brought home the Bronze Medal in both the team competition and the bartender competition.

Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, a non-profit, regional association representing the interests of the Caribbean region's hotel and tourism industries, hosted this annual event.  Thirteen Caribbean countries competed, with each country represented by three top chefs, one darn good pastry chef and one friendly bartender. The 13 national teams competing hailed from Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Curaçao, Grenada, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, St. Maarten/St. Martin, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and the United States Virgin Islands.

The BVI Team was sponsored by the BVI Chamber of Commerce and Hotel Association, along with unwavering support from the BVI community at large.
