Things are sizzling in the BVI folks.  That's right -- Summer Sizzle British Virgin Islands, the Ultimate Fashion Getaway Destination Event, is almost here.  This year the hoopla will combine three essentials of  BVI life: Sun, Fun and Fashion.

So, pack your bags now for the ultimate fashion getaway this summer on Tortola, as Signature by Terry Donovan hosts Summer Sizzle B.V.I. 2009. Now in its third year, the event is designed to combine the perfect vacation weekend with the hottest fashion gala in the Caribbean. The festivities kick off on Thursday, July 23 and run through Sunday, July 26, 2009. The sizzling hot weekend will feature spectacular events such as Culture and Style Welcome Bash, Fashion & Beauty Bazaar, White Sunset Fashion Fete and the grand event, the Summer Sizzle Fashion Show and After-Party.  Yes, After-Party!

The fashion extravaganza is a major showcase of Caribbean and international designers and models. World reknowned brand Baby Phat & Phat Farm, BRAVO-TV Project Runway finalist Korto Momolu, Caribbeans first lady of fashion Claudia Pegus of Trinidad, New York Evening Wear designer Cesar Galindo, hot New York label Aqua Couture by Roger Gary, New York Accessory designer Earth Rowe of Elements of Earth, Tortola native Kristin Frazer of Trefle Designs,  Adrienne Etienne of St. Thomas, and Darryl Hammond of St. Croix are the special featured designers. Some of the regions leading fashion boutiques such as Per Te - San Juan, P.R, Mens Steppin Designs - St. Thomas and Oceangear  Tortola will also present their collections.

Summer Sizzle B.V.I. will feature other highlights such as a day sail excursion, beach barbecues, and island tours allowing guests time to swim, sail, enjoy great food and drink or simply relax away the hours till the next bash.
