British Virgin Islands

Best Place for Local BVI Fish

Try the Swordfish at C&F (284-494-4941). Husband and wife super duo, Clarence and Florence pack the house due to the rock bottom prices and freshness of product. For West Indian dishes, you can’t beat it.

Try the Spearfish at Neptune’s Treasure (284-495-9439). Ask for Linda, if you’re really nice you may squeak out a family recipe or two. Her style, based on a family tradition, is known throughout the islands for its simple, effective approach. Serving her secrets at a tiny bar on the water’s edge, you’ll be surprised at how far her butter sauce and island spices can go!

Try the Wahoo at Brandywine Bay (284-495-2301). Chef Davide Pugliese has become a legend because of his Florentine cuisine tucked away in a tiny family inn. You’ll want to take your eyes off the excellent view of the Sir Francis Drake Channel in time to eat. And make sure to save some time to talk to Chef Pugliese, as he enjoys personally introducing his unique blend of Caribbean and Tuscan creations.  Though the menu changes nightly, try to convince him to make the Wahoo!
