British Virgin Islands

Economy

The BVI economy is one of the most stable and prosperous in all of the Caribbean. Highly dependent on tourism, BVI generates approximately 45% of the national income from its prosperous travel industry. With over 350,000 tourists (mainly from the US) flocking in every year, the 80’s saw BVI offering offshore registration to companies wishing to incorporate in the islands. The BVIs boast over 450,000 companies on their offshore registry and each pays the incorporation fees to generate additional revenue for the BVI economy.
